Grandma's Thanksgiving Apple Pie

Nothing says the holidays like pie. And just like Grandma did, we are making scratch-made apple pies on the day before Thanksgiving - fully cooked and ready to impress the family! Since our orchard is still too young, we will use apples we picked ourselves in Western North Carolina. Kids will make their own pie crust with butter from our cow. Each camper will make their own mini pie to take home. And of course there’s all the animals to feed, water, move, and pet. This camp is part indoors, part outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Camp Christmas!

This Laura Ingalls inspired camp is a perfect time for mom and dad to get some last minute shopping and wrapping done. After morning chores are complete, we will warm up by the farmhouse fire with hot chocolate and Christmas carols. We will make wreaths with real pine bows and natural decorations, and home-made Moravian style beeswax candles, all to take home! As usual there are all the animals to feed, water, move, and pet. This camp is part indoors, part outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

We have two openings for each camp for Mom to attend with her child. So if you've ever wanted to learn about homesteading, this is a great opportunity! You will be able to participate in all of the activities alongside your child. The camps are still geared to children, however there's plenty of time to ask questions.
