Meet your Homesteady Mama

Hello families!  I'm Kerri and I can't wait for your kids to join us on our farm days!

I'm a homesteading, home-schooling, home-cooking (can I use the word home some more?) mama of three young daughters and one grown-up step-daughter. My husband and I run The Conrad Family Farm in Pfafftown, North Carolina.  We caught the farming bug in 2017 and have been learning and growing ever since!  Here's some info about our farm: www.theconradfamilyfarm.com

In my work life, I've owned an accounting company, Starboard Accounting and Consulting since 2008.  With each new baby we've added to our family, I've found it more and more important to be at home.  My favorite days are when we get to work outside in our garden, take care of our animals, read a lot of great books, and cook an amazing meal, all with my children and husband. 

I love connecting the dots between raising animals and growing produce, preserving and cooking food, and enjoying a delicious meal.

With Homesteady Kids, my goal is to share that with your kids as well!  Not everyone can or wants to homestead.  But I do think we are all wanting to show our children where our food comes from, and harken back to the "olden days".  There's a little piece of that here.
